Leighton D. Smith is the Pastor of Faith Evangelistic Ministries in New York City, USA, and host of the weekly radio program, Countdown, heard on WMCA 570 AM in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. In addition, he also hosts the weekly Countdown Television program on CVM Television in Kingston, Jamaica, W.I. and on Channel 2 in Georgetown, Guyana, S.A..

He serves as the President of Prompt Courier Service, Inc., a Wall Street-based Messenger Service, which he founded in 1985. Lastly, he is currently the vice-president of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship, Greater New York Chapter.

As a hopeless, lost sinner, Pastor Smith was stricken with Hodgkin’s disease (cancer of the lymphatic system) in 1982. The Lord in His mercy sent a word to him, “By His stripes ye are healed,” (Isaiah 53 v.5) and he miraculously recovered, refusing since the summer of 1983 to take any more of the chemotherapy drugs he had received for over a year. God has been faithful to His word and has sustained his health even until this very hour.

Pastor Smith is gifted with a strong anointing to teach the uncompromised Word of God, especially in the area of healing. In recent years, he has been directed by the Holy Spirit to teach Bible prophecy as it relates to end-time events. His ministry has taken him across the 5 continents of the world, traveling to over 38 countries, from America to Australia and from Norway to Nigeria. Other countries visited include India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Venezuela, Canada, Singapore, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Cote d’Ivore, Antigua, Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad, Dominica and many others.

Many wonderful miracles of Healing and Deliverance have been wrought by the Holy Spirit through God’s anointed servant and multiple testimonies shared as a result.
